freckled faces
One of the things I love about the summer is that freckled faces always make a reoccuring comeback. All you need is a few minutes in the sun, and those things pop up like wild roses. They give off a bit of that Pippi Longstocking cuteness vibe. And apparently all fashion designers and make up artists seem to agree with me because even this fashion season the runways were filled with freckles.
If you haven’t been gifted with a freckled visage like Madison Stubbington or Nathalie Westling then don’t worry. Last season they dotted them on at the Preen and Val Garland shows and we saw the same thing at Rachel Zoe and Rag & Bone this season. All you need is eyeliner or an eyebrow pencil and you’re good to go. If you’re looking to add a bit more depth on your visage and you want to give your layer of foundation a flawless look, then this is the ultimate solution.
One of the biggest advantages is that you can delay the winter look for a little while longer and you look young and fresh. I have a holiday planned in two weeks and one of the things on my agenda is: soak up as much sun as I can for the perfect freckled face. Oh lord, I’m going to be so on-trend.
