What do you do against a little cellulite? I really hate that word. Here at the department we call it ‘cellu’. Anyway almost every woman has it. It’s no more than little heaps of fat. And I swear it doesn’t make a difference if you’re fat or thin, this has nothing to do with it. But you still might want to do something about it. I understand. That’s why I’m here with a few tips and I’ll probably follow up on them myself. Wanna do it together?
- A round of bikram yoga promises to be good for your cellu. Your blood circulation will hit the roof. If you take an icy shower afterwards (after that hot yoga class), you’re well on your way.
- Working out is definitely a must. Preferably cardio and weights if possible.
- Massage the cellu spots, wherever they are. It has everything to do with a good blood circulation; so stimulating this with a hefty massage (so no limp hands) simply helps.
- There are all kinds of creams and I only believe in them if you believe in the combination of lots of sports and massages. Birch oil supposedly works miracles. Every morning and evening you just smear away.
- Drink, lots and lots. Not wine but water or green tea.
- Do you smoke? Quit! It has a huge influence on the elasticity of your skin. Just so you know.
Then there are the surgical procedures, lots of them but in my opinion what a waste of money. Working out, green food, lots of water and a little extra attention by having a massage now and then. And again almost everyone suffers from it. Even Beyoncé, Jennifer Aniston and probably even Victoria Beckham. Well I think so. Or hope so.
