quinoa

This week, I jumped for joy because the quinoa is available again. The harvest had failed last season and all those poor super food freaks had to do without or pay about ten euros for a small bag at the organic store. Which I found a bit too expensive. Right, it’s back again.

It might sound a bit odd. Quinoa as breakfast, but trust me, it’s absolutely divine. It’s incredibly satisfying, it gives you an energy boost and it’s filled with incredible amounts of protein which gives you a flat stomach. Though you still need to work out a couple of times a week at the gym, obviously.

What do you need and how to prepare it:

  •  Quinoa
  • Dashes of almond milk
  • grated apple
  • Walnuts
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Raisins or dried fruit
  • Goji berries

Take a look at this clip from my favourite food site My New Roots in which they’ll show you how to prepare the perfect quinoa. Afterwards, add the other ingredients and prepare to work out for an hour or so at the gym et voila: killer body is in the pocket.
