Tara Martin is a business woman, fabulous fashionista and born and raised Angeleno. Lucky for us (and you) she is also the latest addition to our Amayzine team of international editors. Every week she will give us an inside look on her life on the fault line.
This week started and ended with some major fashion moments. I was jam packed running from one side of town to the next styling and collaborating with some major star power.
First a fun street style shoot featuring our collaboration with Nashville darling, fashion editor and tv host, Brandi Cyrus. She and I designed a white clutch with silver metallic gun art for her blog StyleNative. She is so sweet and my team and I loved working with her.
Mid-week everyone was in a flurry getting ready for the Teen Choice Awards and our office was no different. We were working on a collaboration with couture shoe line Palter de Liso, based in Beverly Hills, Mattel, Jordin Sparks, Monster High and us. It was decided on Thursday to do a pair of black leather pumps with Monster High’s skullette art on them for Jordin to wear on the red carpet. It was our very first time doing shoes so it was even more exciting. She rocked the pumps with a black and white dress and look fabulous! The press loved her whole look, and so did we.
Somehow I managed to fit in a few of my first ever sessions at Soul Cycle which just opened a new location in Manhattan Beach. First of all their music is rockin, you get an insanely good workout, and of course my favorite part, their workout wear is stylish and fresh. Picked up a pair of these black and white Los Angeles Soul Cycle x Nike pants and they are a new favorite.
Ending my week with a site visit to the venue for our upcoming fall luncheon and charity event with handbag line Clare Vivier. The grounds are gorgeous and it will be a lovely high tea in September for about 50 women. Looking forward to filling you in on event details as we get closer.
Until next week!
Xo,
Tara Martin
