I’m writing this on a Monday night in our Chelsea apartment. It’s been 3 days of NY Fashion Week. We arrived here, our home away from home, on Friday afternoon and it proved to be even better that the pictures we had seen.

The rooms were divided, suitcases unpacked and then Jet, Josselin and Sacha (our terrific cameraman) went to Whole Foods to shop. “I can’t deal with an empty fridge”, said Jet and off she went. I stayed at the apartment for a hot shower and a fresh change of clothing. Tonight is the Monique Lhuillier show. Read about it here.

We roll into our beds at 10 pm, exhausted only to wake up bright and early at 5 am. Jetlag is such a laugh.

At 10 Jet and I are off to the Lacoste show. May has an appointment with Sarah Keller (Doutzen Kroes’s agent) and Josselin is backstage at Tibi.

After Lacoste Jet and I treat ourselves to a smoothie and a stroll. Then back to the apartment for a quick typing session and to upload some images. May and I pull on our warmest pants as we have one more stop: Alexander Wang.

We’re standing eye in eye with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Nicci Minaj and Anna Wintour, how that worked out you can read here. Boosted with excitement we head to the apartment where Josselin and Jet have set the table full of edible goodies. With open laptops and a glass of wine we finish our articles and go to sleep at 10, feeling like we’ve pulled an all-nighter.

Then Sunday, a very important day as it’s our Josselin’s birthday. We secretly bought a cake and candles and we sing our heads off while Josselin blows them out.

Jet and Josselin take the camera and are of to film a sneaker item. May and I are going to Victoria Beckham’s show, well more like interview people in front. That was the plan but suddenly we’re in. And we stayed put. Read more here.

We are really getting into things here and the next show is DKNY. Minor detail; Sunday was the coldest day here in 20 years. So after half an hour at DNKY we were totally freezing. We even saw a girl being taken away that had turned blue with cold.

We go back to the apartment to warm up. I hoard the shower because I can’t seem to stop shaking. When we finally feel warm again we get into a taxi to see DvF, a spectacular show. Afterwards IT happened; I met Olivia and I have a picture as proof. WOW. I will personally tell you all about this later.

You understand my world is complete now. We decide to celebrate at the Grand Soho hotel (one of May’s favorites) with a glass of wine ($16 being the cheapest on the menu). Then it’s a taxi to another one of May’s favorite places: restaurant Morandi. There we meet up with Jet and Josselin (who I, thanks to a major brain freeze kept calling Jot). We had an amazing dinner and ended up back at our apartment table typing and yawning and looking forward to our beds and a new day. More tomorrow.
