I left you when I was almost nodding off behind my laptop and to be honest nothings changed. It’s eight thirty NY time and I’m shattered. A combination of long days, extreme cold temperatures and jetlag do that to you. Anyway I promised to tell you about our Monday and Tuesday.

Monday we started off in the Park Avenue Armory for the Tommy Hilfiger show (the same location as last year). An immense building functioning as a cultural center, which Tommy turned into a sports paradise.

This time it was an all American football field around which hundreds of guests were seated. With Beyoncé booming from the speakers the models trudged onto the field. You can see how this looked  here.

We stand outside for quite a while for this film and I got to chat to John who happened to work for Bill Cunningham. Yep thé Bill Cunningham. We became good friends and were photographed by Bill. Meeting Bill was an absolute highlight just like my meeting with Olivia.

After Tommy we take a peek at J.Crew (hey we work in fashion – shopping is part of our job) and then we split up. Josselin and I went to the Lincoln Center for the Dennis Basso show and May and Sacha went out to lunch.

Dennis Basso was Josselin’s first show. We were infatuated by the range of guests that attended the show, all very colorful types. After that we met up with the others on Lincoln Center Square. Next on our program was Ilja Visser’s show, a Dutchie showing her label ‘Ready to Fish’ in NY, how cool is that?

After visiting J.Crew we wanted more so we grabbed a cab to SoHo to shop. A few hours later we drop our investments in the apartment en got back to work behind our laptops. As we still suffer from jetlag we wake up at 5 am and are under the wool by 9 pm (baby time).

Tuesday. We all start off on our own. Jet went soul cycling, the hottest sport in NY. Josselin and Sacha went to Badgley Mischka for a backstage tour, May had an appointment with super cool Bo Mulder and I headed off to the NYC & Company office for an interview and a look at the Diesel show on Wall Street. I hoped to spot a few good looking men in suits but was sadly disappointed. After Diesel we met up at the apartment as all of us were going to Marc by Marc Jacobs.

It’s past nine now. May, Jet and Josselin are asleep and I’m at the kitchen table with Sacha. I’m writing this and he’s editing a film. Sounds really lame, we’re in the most exciting city in the world and we’re in bed before 10 pm every day. Tomorrow it’s dinner at Indochine and out for cocktails. So cross your fingers we won’t fall asleep with our chin in our cosmopolitan and be asked to leave the premises. I’ll keep you posted.
