Meet Simone. She recently joined our Amayzine clan as the newest intern for our International team. I pretty much want to snab every outfit she wears to the office and hide it in my closet and don’t even get me started on her collection of bags. Look at this Noé GM from Louis Vuitton. Sigh.

How many bags do you own?

I’ve collected quite a few over the past year but my three favorites are my bags from Louis Vuitton, Céline and Longchamp.

How did you find this beauty?

I bought this one on designer-vintage.com. I had spent quite a while looking for the LV Noé bag and as soon as I spotted this one online I clicked the purchase button. I’m in love with the yellow exterior and the purple lining. And…it was a lot cheaper than buying a brand new one in a store.

tell us honestly, how well do you take care of it? do you just dump it in a corner somewhere or do you place it on a shelf carefully wrapped in its dust bag?

I wish I could say I was very cautious with my bags. I carry them with me wherever I go and regardless as to whether it’s a Céline or a Zara bag, they always manage to find their way to the floor.

what about the content of your bag? is it utter chaos or are you very neat?

I carry around everything, both for myself and for my boyfriend. I often lug around his sunglasses or wallet or an extra sweater.. You name it. You can kind of compare my bag to one of those mystery grab bags filled with surprises.

What can always be found in your bag?

I always carry my Prada makeup bag filled with my favorite daily products. This bag was gifted to my by Dutch stylist Thomas Vermeer after having assisted him for a photo shoot. It was his way of thanking me for helping him out. I also always carry around a perfume, sunglasses and a pen.

do you prefer trendy or classic? and does a bag need to be practical for you?

I tend to lean more towards classic, however my ultimate dream bag is a combination of feminine, abstract and colorful. I’ve always had a thing of Céline designs.

last but not least, what can we find on your wishlist?

During my previous internship for Harper’s Bazar I saw a lot of beauties come and go. This would probably make most women greedy, but in my case this was more counter productive. I currently don’t have an ultimate wish list, but if I really had to chose… A timeless Mulberry Bayswater.
