Make-up for four eyes

I don’t need glasses but sometimes I wear them just for the fun of it. Or just to look smart for a change. The last time I wore this charming pair (La Roche by the way) it occurred to me that I had to apply my make-up a little differently. Here are a few pointers.

Very easy; you don’t need to use mascara. Your long lashes might touch the glass otherwise so use a lash curler. This one by Tweezerman €12,95, is great.

Eye shadow is unnecessary when you wear glasses with a sturdy frame. Eyeliner is better. If you have plus go for a thin line. With the Precise Eyeliner by Maybelline, €10,07, you make them fine and accurate. If you have minus go for a cat-eye variation. You could use the Intense Kajal by Yves Rocher, €6,95, works like a marker.

Striking lips suit people with glasses. It gives your face balance in accordance with the frame of your glasses. First use a lip pencil to outline your lips then use the exact same color to fill them in. At the moment I’m into the darker colors like Blackberry by Collistar, €23,95.
