hate running?
THIS WILL MAKE YOU LOVE IT
I like to go for a run everyday. For me it beats going to the gym any time. Especially when it comes to the time saved. All it takes is pulling on your jogging gear, tying up your shoes and heading out the door. And after half an hour you are back at home and have had a good workout. The gym is much more hassle, takes longer, you have to take your toiletries, fresh clothes, afterwards you’re carrying around a wet towel, stuff like that.
I always find it a shame when I come across people that hate running. It just has so many advantages and if you’ve pushed through and persevered with running you’ll soon realize just how good it is. You’ll never take your sneakers off again. Here are a few tips for you. You never know, soon we could be running laps together.
It is the cheapest gym ever.
If you like the gym for strength building, running is still the cheapest. Choose a route with lots of benches or stairs, where you can exercise with your own body weight. Or throw weights in your backpack while running (makes running a touch heavier) to use somewhere during the run.
It can be anywhere. Really anywhere. The best thing is to run in other cities, you see so much more. I then have a good excuse to not go the museums (ahem). I’ve seen everything!
It is healthier than the gym because unlike those on the treadmills you are outside taking in more oxygen. And you don’t have to suffer the odors of others.
Maybe I can persuade you with the fact that running is a very good fat burner? You do have to keep up the pace though. With a nice rapid tempo you’ll see those strong slender legs in no time.
While running your body produces endorphins, also known as the happy hormone. You get a sense of joy and stress (if you have it) will be left behind. It really empties head.
If you are a regular jogger you will also be able to get up the stair a lot easier. I bet you’ve found yourself more than once lugging your huffing puffing self up those things.
The more you run, the more active you are between the sheets. Well, I read it somewhere, but I’m certain it’s not wrong. Are joining me?
Tip! Treat yourself to the most spunkiest running outfit that exists. Believe me, you’ll always be in the mood for a run. And … you never know who you might meet, right?
