MAN’ICURES and MAGIC BUNS

Not too long ago I taught my boyfriend how to braid my hair – with a few giggles here and there obviously. Now I know for a fact that I am capable of creating something braidesque on top of my head, but for some reason it just sounded more appealing to live with someone who could do it for me. And incase we ever have any daughters, how cool would it be if daddy was the one who did their hair?

Anyway, when I told a good friend of mine she couldn’t contain her laughter but she definitely saw the usefulness of the situation. Plus, her boyfriend was the ‘polisher’ of two and would give her a brand new shade every week. Shocking, I know. I can understand braiding, but I never expected a guy polishing girls nails was really even a thing. She was dead serious too when she told me. Not even the slightest crackle.

But those guys of ours, boy are they ahead of their game. Above and beyond the current trends. When the man bun disappeared from the fashion scene, it was time for a boost. And that’s when the braid was added into the picture. We spotted a few lookers rocking braids on the runway so lets hope and pray that the man bun will be updated with a man bun braid. Although that would mean that I would be helping him with his hair in the morning instead of the other way around.

And that friend of mine, she too is going to have to split her nail polish time with her SO. Cause yes, that too is something we’ll be seeing more of amongst the male population. Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp were already seen rocking polish a while back, but now it has also been spotted on the Burberry runway. Oh lord, it’s cute and all, men starting to be a bit more vain, but let’s just hope they stay away from our favorite lipsticks and mascaras.
