GOOD MORNING SMOOTHIES
Hooray! They are back with a vengeance. Jet’s shakes! I saw so many incredible smoothies and juices pass by on the net that I thought we were all a little done with them, but time and time again the question rolls in: “What’s a yummy smoothie for in the morning to start the day with a bang?” Not wanting to do things in halves, I dived into the kitchen and I made three fab wake-up call smoothies. Let me know what you think?
I’ll help save you some dishes by not using the juicer. All these smoothies can be made in a blender.
My all time favorite coconut-banana smoothie
1 banana
Good handful of coconut flakes
Pinch of cinnamon
About a cup of coconut water
So easy, so tasty. A real sweet treat. Even better if you make it with a frozen banana (peeled it before putting it in the freezer, but you knew that right).
Everything in the blender, mix and drink.
Tip! For more body, you can use almond milk instead of coconut water
Green Coco
Splash of coconut milk
Handful of spinach
Few pieces of mango
A half bananas
Tablespoon of flaxseed
Chuck it all in together and blend. Dilute with a little (coconut) water if you find that tasty.
Pineapple de luxe
Good dash of coconut milk
Large handful of kale
6 pieces of pineapple
Half a banana
Everything together and tadaa!
Tip! Let the blender run a really long time so that the kale is completely smooth.
