In My Favorite Things – yes, this column is totally inspired by Oprah as well as Julie Andrews – we ask interesting and inspiring ladies from all over the world about the things that melt their butter, water their mouth and make hearts skip a beat.

LA is the perfect place for us; it’s close, it’s warm and has the best shopping.

Mascara?

I change mascara every time I run out. There are so many that I like to try them all, but there isn’t one that has stood out as of yet.

Workout?

Bike riding (not cycling) to and from work in the summer time.

Restaurant in the whole world?

Taco Tuesdays at Tubby Dog in Calgary.

Instagram filter?

I use VSCO to filter my photos and A6 is my go-to.

Road trip song?

Anything by Marina & The Diamonds.
