This pretty face is 21 year old Elise Swart. After obtaining a certificate in fashion styling and currently studying fashion business, Elise has plans to take Paris, London and New York by storm. When she’s not busy working on her future goals, you can occasionally find her working as a model or painting the town red with her friends in Amsterdam. How many bags do you have?

I’m obsessed with bags and over the years I’ve built up quite a collection. I currently have four favorites. This Mulberry bag, my Miu Miu, Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs.

What’s the story behind this bag?

This beauty has been in my possession for two years already. I was on the hunt for a timeless designer bag and this Mulberry Bayswater was the perfect candidate. I accidentally bumped into it on Designer-Vintage.com and bought it straight away without any hesitation.

How well do you take care of your bags?

Overall I take great care of my bags. That doesn’t mean I always put them back in their dust bags when I’m at home, but you’ll never see me leaving them somewhere on the floor. Unless I really have no other option.

so what’s it look like inside of your bag?

It can vary. Sometimes I’m completely organized but if I use the same bag a few days in a row it tends to become a bit of a mess. But I’m pretty sure any other female can relate.

What do you always carry around in your bag?

I always carry around gum, lip balm, my cardholder, some makeup and my sunglasses. You never know when the sun decides to shine…

what do you find to be the perfect characteristics of a bag?

I find the quality to be the most important part. A bag needs to be able to handle a tumble or jab here and there, especially an expensive one. And I think a bag has to be able to complete an outfit so whether you opt for something classical or a pop of color, it has to give your outfit that extra oomph!

Which bag can we still find on your wish list?

You mean which bag can’t be found on my wish list, haha. I wouldn’t mind adding another classic to my collection, like a Louis Vuitton or a Chanel for example.
