my most used apps on my iphone
As of late, I’m going through life with the newest iPhone 6S and all I can say is: it’s heaven sent. The screen is so refined, the pictures have perfect resolution, the 3D Touch is just as great as I though it would be and all my apps look even better than they did before. I’m a sucker for articles about people and their favorite apps because you never know where you can get your inspiration from. So hereby my daily favorites.
No introduction or explanation necessary. These speak for themselves.
Google Chrome
I am an Apple-ally to the core but if I have to chose between Google Chrome and Safari, I prefer Chrome. Mainly because I use it on my MacBook too so it’s easier to synchronize all the pages and folders I use.
Afterlight & Facetune
These are the apps I use to edit my photos. I use Afterlight for the coloring and Facetune to add some effects and to photoshop where necessary.
Timehop
Definitely in my top 3 favorite apps. This app gives you a daily insight as to what you’ve done on social media the last few years on that exact day. Pretty much a digital trip down memory lane.
Moneybird
This is actually a Dutch app that helps you take care of all your personal administration. Mint, Spendee and Manilla are the international versions of this app and’ll help you take care of your finances.
Evernote
This is where I jot down all my notes. Especially during press trips or any ideas that cross my mind that I want to write about. Works for both your iPhone and MacBook.
MailOnline
My guilty pleasure: the Daily Mail. And then more specifically the ‘news’ about celebrities evidently.
IMDb
I automatically type in any movie or series name I hear into IMDb. The rating the movie or series receives is my determining factor as to whether or not I’m going to watch it.
Airbnb
To sooth my inner hunger for house porn, this app is indispensable. It’s always fun to peek into other people’s homes, especially ones that go way above my paycheck.
Spotify
Last but never least, Spotify, for all my concerts on my way to work. Don’t forget to synchronize it offline though, that way you can listen to music when you’re abroad (or in a plane) without sky high bills.
