We’re back in Amsterdam! And I’m suffering from a Fashion Week fever; a runny nose, hot and cold flashes and my head is spinning. It must have been caused by my hefty 13-hour schedule of running around all day and sitting down to work on my laptop afterwards. But boy did I have fun! I still owe you a report of the last few days, so off we go.

By the time I had packed ALL my clothes and finished some last minute articles it was 1 am. My alarm was set for 05:30 and the Louis Vuitton show was scheduled at 10. There was one small hiccup; we had to leave the apartment by eleven.

We decided to drop our bags at Gare du Nord before heading towards the Fondation, where the Louis Vuitton show was being held. We got caught in the middle of traffic and had to go all the way across town but by getting up early we braved all that and arrived at the show on time. Just like Selena Gomez who’s hoards of fans were screaming and crying as she passed them to enter the building.

The screaming continued as Kim and Kayne, Chloe Grace Mortez arrived. And we haven’t even mentioned Anna Wintour, Jennifer Connelly, Stromae, Michelle Williams, Mario Testino, Natalia Vodianova, Fan BingBing, Christian Louboutin and Lauren Santo Domingo.

A successful full front row. It was the last day of the Fashion month, the sun was coming out and everyone was in a good mood The show was going live and while Sacha and I waited for the footage, May sent me all the looks on Whatapp.

We tear off to the next show: Miu Miu. On arrival we grab a bite before we take our places behind the crash barrier. Miu Miu, as always, was the last show of the season. You could feel the restlessness and clearly see the fatigue; everyone was excited and tired at the same time. So strange that the battery of my phone is almost empty again, it must be leaking because of Fashion Week. Really. I have suspicions of a conspiracy.

The Miu Miu show was one big extravaganza and ended in everyone calling: “It’s a wrap!”. The response was, “ See you next season!” and one could feel the melancholy. The show had been so much fun we actually felt recharged. It was time to say goodbye. You could compare it to the last day of school; you’re glad school’s over but you are really going to miss everyone. We’ve exchanged numbers and cards with all our new friends and promised to see each other again in a few months. I’m still going to miss them though.

After Miu Miu Sacha goes to take some city shots and I take a stroll after stopping by Gare du Nord (I had to get out my heels!). My nose kept getting runnier and I really wasn’t feeling well so I parked myself behind a little bistro table out on the terrace. For some reason I ordered a glass of wine which tasted disgusting. That meant that I was definitely ill. At seven Sacha and I met up at the station and the train took us back to Amsterdam. Dear Paris thank you for a magical week and I hope to see you soon.
