I am totally fed up with it, dieting. Damn, I’ve been doing it since I was 14. Name a diet and I bet you I did it. Name any pill, powder, liposuction, massages, juice vasting the whole shebang, yes been there, done that. I was not blessed with slender broadway legs and would rather be wearing an A cup, or even a B (instead of a fucking D). And there’s no way I am hanging any device whatsoever on my arm to get rid of the flab, just to get them back in shape. I therefore decided to do things differently. Looking your slender best has everything to do with the way you dress. These are the tips I use as a daily mantra. Repeat after me.
*I have moments where I refuse to buy a certain clothing item because the sizes printed on the label puts me off. Too often I’ve come home with things that would have fitted a lot better if I had bought them in a larger size. Remeber the information in the label is there to inform you not to judge you. So buy what fits eventhough it might not be in the size you hoped for.
*Find a good tailor. I try to wing it myself sometimes but with a good tailer it’s a little easier to look at yourself in the mirror and determine the needed changes.
* Wear something that puts the accent on your waist. A simple tip that makes you look thinner on the spot.
* A common mistake is that women think they look thinnr in oversized clothing. If you buy something that looks like a tent then you will end up looking like a tent. Buy clothing that takes on the natural shape of your body.
* Choose a good neckline. A nice v-neck can easily take off a few pounds. You create longer optical vertical lines this way. This works especially well For big breasted women.
* Don’t be suduced by bright prints or colors because nothing makes you thinner than black or another equally dark color. Want to wear colors? Choose colorful accessories.
* Take your time to choose the right bra. If you are wearing the right cup (with the well needed supprort) it’s easy to obtain a more slender silhouette. Go to a store with experienced personal. It’s really worth it. Besides your breasts change regularly, check to see if your size needs refreshing at least two times a year.
* Invest in accessoires. By choosing the right accessories you can easily and quickly realize the look you want to achieve. They can draw the attention to a certain point and derive the attention from parts you don’t want them to look at anyway. For example; a long necklace creates length.
* Watch your posture and try to always strighten your back. This straightens your shoulders and tucks in the tummy automatically. Really, you look more confident and at least two sizes smaller.
* Do as Kate (Middleton) does and wear skin tone colored shoes that match your teint. The similarity between skin and shoes provides the illusion that your legs look longer. This season there are a ray of beautiful tan colors (cognac, for example) that look terrific with tanned legs.
