Before the hair dresser even started, I was worried I was going to end up looking like a bride but luckily this hair style was much edgier and cooler than I expected. So here you go, four easy steps to replicate it at home.
Step 1 – I repeat: PREP hair.
Step 2 – Part your hair into two. On the left side you’re going to braid your hair rather loosely and fasten it with a hair tie. Do precisely the same thing on the right side.
Step 3 – The two braids will come together and be secured in a bun. Keep it loose, messy and low.
Step 4 – If you have bangs use a hair dryer to give them a bit of shape. If you want to add a more romantic look to this bun, I would advise blowdrying your bangs to the side so they aren’t so prominent in your face.
Toen Melissa begon, zei ik dat ik me net een bruidje voelde met dit lookje. Maar zij schudde; nouu, we doen ‘m wel iets cooler en ruiger. Bruidjes zijn soms zo tuttig. Dus voilà, ik gaf me over en werd verblijd met een enorm cool resultaat.
Stap 1 – Zie alle andere eerste stappen. Lijkt me een logisch verhaal.
Stap 2 – Je deelt je haar in tweeën. In het linkergedeelte maak je een heel losse vlecht naar beneden die je vastzet met een elastiekje. In het rechtergedeelte doe je precies hetzelfde.
Stap 3 – De twee vlechten komen samen in een knotje. Heel los, heel rommelig en vooral heel laag is mooi hierbij.
Stap 4 – Als je je lok of pony niet hebt meegevlecht, dan föhn je die nog een beetje in vorm erbij. Bij mij had Melissa ‘m heel mooi naar de zijkant geföhnd, waardoor ‘ie dus wel aanwezig was, maar precies bij het ietwat romantische plaatje paste.
