The other secrets of those usA-models

– what they buy at the pharmacy –

Victoria’s Secret was the show of the year, with the models and oh yes, the most beautiful sets of underwear. Harper’s Bazaar was backstage and published a cute article where the models all shared their favourite products from, yes, the pharmacy. Because even top models visit the pharmacy. And since we also end up there every so often – assuming that you also buy Dove and Nivea products at pharmacies or drug stores – I wanted to share this with you. Who knows, you may end up as beautiful as Karlie Kloss or Joan Smalls.

Karlie Kloss
“Whenever Karlie ends up in a shopping street, she dives into the nearest Boots. They have fabulous basic pharmaceutical products. What does Karlie buy? Small pots of Vaseline for dry lips and skin.”

Joan Smalls
“Intense hair masks or conditioners for hair, they’re fabulous. Those big tubs that you can put your hand in and scoop out the mask, then leave it in all day. My favourite is the Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm by L’Oréal Paris.

Lily Aldridge
“I really like the make-up wipes from Burt’s Bees. They smell good and are ideal for keeping in your bag.”

Candice Swanepoel
“I swear by the Cocoa Butter Lip balm from Palmer’s.

Adriana Lima
“I love oils, and so I always use argan oil on my face, in my hair and actually all over my body. The oil from Nourish Organic is the best.”

Behati Prinsloo
Burt’s Bees lip balms. And nail polish. I go into a pharmacy without a list but come out with hundreds of items.”

Taylor Hill
“I like the BB Cream by Maybelline, but I also always use the Million Lashes mascara by L’Oréal Paris.

Eniko Mihalik
“The lipstick from Covergirl (Lip Stain) is amazing. Apply once and it lasts. It doesn’t smudge, rub off and even stays on during a kiss. Wonderful.”

Jasmine Tookes
“One of my favourite items from the pharmacy is the Cetaphil cleanser. Soft on the skin without any fuss.”

Lily Donaldson
“What I buy at the drugstore? Mascara from Covergirl, coconut oil for removing make-up and for a good boost of moisture. Smear on your eyes and it removes mascara faster than any other product.”
