STUPID ACCORDING TO MAY
It’s not good to keep things bottled up inside of you. There are times you need to vent. And I choose to do it now. Simply because I have the urge to type away some irritations. Here are the things that drive me absolutely crazy. You may recognize a few.
1. Waiting music
I know companies have done their upmost to install relaxing waiting music but it’s not something I find worth waiting for. The music is usually too loud and unfitting for the moment. If you’re on hold you’re annoyed anyway and you want to speak to a person asap. Everything communicated to you by a computer, like that stupid tune, is horrible.
2. Computer voices
Computer voices go in the same box as waiting music; both are meant to be courteous. A voice that tells you “Thank you for calling our company. Your business is truly important to us. Please hold while we connect your call.” Okay, if you only heard it once it wouldn’t be that bad, but every fifteen seconds for ten minutes….. that is so annoying.
3. Sales people who jump out of stores and address you
Everyone who is looking to sell you something or have you fill out an inquiry is of course irritating but lately some stores have posted people at the entrance of the store that aggressively jump out at you as you pass by. Last time I was getting into my car and they we yelling at me so loudly that I thought I had a flat tire. Seriously people, do you really think this is a valid selling strategy?
4. Unleashed toilet paper
After the moment of frustration at the person before you not hanging up a new roll of toilet paper or leaving a roll with only one lousy sheet, this is another annoyance. A new roll that has the paper glued on so tight you have to break through five layers to loosen it. I may not express myself very accurately but you know what I mean right? And you find it bloody irritating too, don’t you?
5. Unreadable instructions
I have problems with a jar of Solgar vitamins but it’s also missing on the packaging of conditions or hair masks; readable instructions. When I’m under the shower I never know (I don’t have my contacts in yet) if have to rinse out the conditioner now or later. Not a global issue, but still. Use larger print people.
6. Companies you can’t phone or mail
I’ve had this experience with Park-line. I cancelled it months ago but every month they withdraw membership expenses from my bank account. And I can’t even use the App. Reaching a human using their website is impossible. There’s no email address and no phone number. Maybe this post will help. May-Britt@amayzine.com , please, get in touch? I’ve really had it with you guys. Phew, feels good to get that off my chest.
If you have any daily irritations you can mail to Info@amayzine.com, we won’t be able to solve them for you but I promise you we’ll listen.
