Moleskine Agenda

When I was still at school, and I’m talking high school here, I looked forward to every summer vacation and the moment that I could buy a new agenda. The shops were full of them and I always went for the DIY-agenda. With plastic sleeves that you could pop your photos in. And preferably with colourful elastics, so you could stick papers and other stuff in between the pages. I’ve outgrown the DIY-stage thank goodness and of course I’m far more organised than before, and those fussy agendas are history. They’ve made way for the Moleskine.

Moleskin is my absolute favourite. They make great note books, and I’ve got stacks of them lying around at home including agendas. They come in different types, but I always buy the same one with the agenda on the left and an open page on the right for sticking full of ideas, illustrations and other goodies. It is actually a little bit of a DIY-agenda really, because the Moleskin comes with stickers. More business oriented of course, first-aid images, suitcases and aeroplanes, but still loads of fun to sticker with.

This year I’m cheating. I’ve bought a different brand of agenda. Only because the Moleskines were all sold out though (they’re back now!), and I had strong desire for something new. So I’ve started, as before, writing my appointments neatly in it with my best pen and using it regularly. Although I think that my handwriting will be getting bigger and more enthusiastic in the second week of February. Because, yes, I am going to New York. Perhaps the best thing I’ve written in my agenda this year.
