Sunday lazy fun day

After a busy week at work I thought today would be a good day to pamper myself. Here’s how I do it:

Candle Light

Lighting aroma candles is the first step towards a relaxing afternoon. Diptyque or Jo Malone smell delicious. Figuier is my favorite.

The Mask

Do you ever have the time to apply a facial mask? Yep. Today. I treat my over styled hair to a Prosecco and cover my face with the Clinique charcoal mask which will leave my skin soft as a peach. What? Prosecco in my hair? Yes. I use a healthy helping of Hairloxx Hair Mask ‘With a Sense of Prosecco’ to nourish my hair and get it a little tipsy.

Bubble

I actually own a bath, very luxurious by Amsterdam standards. Yet I hardly ever use it. For the next hour I am committed to soaking up nourishing Argan bath oil by Kneipp. I come out of the bathroom feeling fresh as a daisy.

Body

I’ve mentioned I’m nearing my thirties but I aim to preserve my young vital skin by applying ‘Youthful Body Cream’ by L’Occitane after my bath. It smells of almonds. L’Occitane probably got them at a market in the south of France. A little bit of France on your body is always a good idea. Très magnifique!

Chanel

Beautifying yourself without Chanel is like shopping without your credit card. You’re missing something. The finishing touch is applying the Chanel no5 body powder to my reborn body.

I feel like a breath of fresh air when I sink into my couch to consume several episodes of Scandal. Oh wait; I have a party this evening! Bye lazy Sunday. It was great while it lasted.
