Okay, I know I’m becoming very repetitive but I have to say it once again: it is so hot here! Alright, that was it. On to this week’s talk in town. Because obviously it’s been all but quiet on our island.

A BABY IN THE WILD

Last year it took place in the middle of winter somewhere on 6th Avenue in the Upper East Side. This year it was in the midst of summer in the metro by Grand Central. Wondering what I’m talking about? Babies in the wild. It seems to be an annual phenomenon, mothers who go into labor in the middle of the streets and have absolutely no time to rush to a hospital. But luckily, this baby too was healthy as a horse. But boy oh boy, delivering your child like this is something you hope no one ever has to go through!

Restaurantweek!

This week prestigious and highly recommended restaurants are opening their doors with a special menu. And along with those menus comes with a very very welcoming price tag. So use your well earned dollars and enjoy some culinary wonders.

My favorite store ever-ever in terms of interior is Restoration Hardware. And it just so happens that this store is located right around my corner. Evidently I take this a sign to revamp my entire house into a RH showroom, but that’s not what I wanted to share. What I do want to share this week is that they will be opening a second store. And wait for it, they aren’t just opening another store. They’re also opening a restaurant ad a hotel! I love this! All of which will be found in the Meatpacking district.  Keep an eye out.
