It was meant to take place on the 1st of August. The big pink and blue dildo’s were ready to be handed out at Union Square. Roughly 5000 people were at the starting blocks prepared for battle as a ludicrous manner of informing people about the need to regularly get tested for STD’s and HIV. Unfortunately the police cancelled the dildo war before it even began. The disappointment was colossal. The dildo’s stayed packaged. But guess what? They secretly did it anyway. Ha, I love it. mister sunday
Sunday’s are for late breakfast dates in the sun. Add a little live music and a nice cold beverage and they’re even more amusing. It’s possible now, in Brooklyn. Mister Sunday is the successor of Mister Saturday, and also consists of Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin’s musical genious. This minifestival is one you definitely shouldn’t miss this summer.
