– Christmas came early for our beauty editor –

The best thing about coming back from a three week hiatus in South Africa going on safari tours, swimming with sharks and soaking in as much of the country as I could, was coming back to a pile of packaged goodies. And seeing your colleagues too of course. But as you’d understand, I had quite an eventful morning unwrapping a stack of packages.

1. Christmas is coming

I love advent calendars. This advent calendar from L’Occitane surprises you with a different soap, bottle of body lotion and hand creams for the entire month of December. All hidden behind the cutest illustrations which makes it that much nicer.

2. The gifts of joy

Anything from Philosophy always makes me greedy but their christmas editions up’s the ante and you can’t help but want to decorate your Christmas tree with all their pretty items.

3. Rouge Noir Absolument

Anything Chanel related are welcomed with open arms here at the office and I’m surprised this package was still unopened on my desk when I came back. It’s their Christmas collation. Extremely impressive and their eye shadow pallet is already my current favorite thing and their nail polishes should be on everyone’s Christmas wish list for the holidays.

4. Benefit

Oh oh oh, so I may have been out of the country for Amayzine’s two year anniversary but luckily being out of sight did not mean I was out of mind. Benefit left me an entire box filled with products for the perfect brows. And after my holiday my brows can use a bit of taming.

5. Bath bombs

Each day of last week packages were delivered to our doorstep that had my name on them. Curiosity grew at the office. Some of these boxes ended up being filled with beauty care products from Nature’s Choice called Treets Traditions. The best bath bombs and scented body creams.

6. Giorgio Armani

Pretty much everything Armani touches turns into gold so let’s just hope that the Maestro brushes do the same for your face. They are so pretty, so soft and definitely something every well filled make up bag needs.

7. a bodyshop christmas

The Bodyshop always has the best collection of limited editions and for the upcoming holidays they’ve once again outdone themselves to create the ideal presents.

8. Golden scent

Chanel’s Eau Premier. I can’t help it if this perfume accidentally finds its way into my bag. The ultimate scent to get you through the winter.

9. Sculptwear

Tight, smooth and in shape. That’s what we all want. Always. So it’s a good thing that Clinique is releasing a new serum and mask line in November to keep your face young and refreshed.

10. Christmas Cracker

When it comes to killer packaging, Jo Malone is the place to be. Everything looks so good you actually hardly want to unwrap it but this one is worth it. Although I left this one unpacked for the time being.

11. Balmain

Balmain’s hair care line is uncanny. Their miniature salt sprays, hair sprays and hair moisturizers are exactly what I needed now that my head of hair has turned into a real stack of hay after coming back from South Africa.
