After moaning and groaning for a countless amount of times after bidding farewell to the summer, I must say I have encountered a forthcoming love for fall and I’m even starting to look forward to wearing vests and high boots and warm dresses. And red wine and chocolate too of course, but that’s a whole other story. I’ve collected the 7 items that are very in this season keeping you on top of your game.

Or at least knee length. I am over the moon with this trend. First of all because I already own a pair (saving me a couple hundred euro’s) and second of all, because it’s such a easy look to pull off. Pair it with a pretty dress and you’re good to go.

And then preferably a pleated one. Gucci has a couple of varieties but you could also just buy an affordable edition from J.Crew. I’m seriously off to buy one this afternoon. If my schedule allows it. And my credit card.

Classic yet sexy. My favorite variety being the one with a collar and a ruffle and then preferably a bit sheer so people can catch a glimpse of your bra. And if you happen to find one with a leopard print then it’ll be even more funkier.

Funny how fashion works. We all watch hundreds of shows and yet everyone always wants that one bag. This used to be Chanel’s Boy bag, then the Céline, after that a Wang, then Proenza and now it’s the Gucci. Time to start saving.

The turtleneck is back and works so very well on flared pants (or on a leather skirt of course) if you’re going for a casual look. You can sport them under a vest, a jacket, a dress. In Claes Iversen’s latest collection, turtlenecks were a reoccurring theme. He also has them in his ready to wear line; easier on the wallet.

Think floor length, think waistline, think lace or patterned, think of a bow around your neck, think bold, feminine and super sexy.
