your hands will no longer give away your age
The Hollywood Hand Job
Forgetting to hydrate your skin – I get it, we all do it. Although I have written a number of posts dedicated to why it is important to always hydrate your skin with lotions, the hands are regularly forgotten. Luckily I always have hand cream on my desk, but otherwise I would be guilty of forgetting it too. And let’s be honest: our hands give away our age. They are our permanent business cards and so it is important we take good care of them.
But forget about lotion. There’s a new solution that’s been introduced to our wondrous world of inventions which won’t make your hands greasy. An exciting one because it involves a bit of botox. Say hello to the newest trend in La La Land: the handacials.
Handacials, a.k.a hand facials incase the penny didn’t drop yet, makes your hands smooth. Bye bye Madonna hands. Something which is often said when your hands give away your age. Madonna, you all know her, she’s got the most perfect porcelain skin, but her hands are very wrinkled. Harold Lancer, skin doctor to the stars, and plastic surgeon Leif Rogers now offer chemical peelings, fillers and laser treatments to make sure your hands don’t wrinkle. But then there’s doctor David Jack who’s come up with something entirely new and takes no more than 5 minutes and Demi Moore and Kris Jenner are over the moon about it.
So there you have it. Two different option for a hand ‘lift.’ Either you opt for fillers or you’re going to be more structured when it comes to hand lotion. I think I’m going to opt for the latter.
