the pieces we all want

from H&M X BALMAIN

Everyone is currently living in a Balmain craze and getting prepped for the starting blocks since the countdown for the launch of the Balmain collection has commenced. Last Tuesday pretty much anyone who is anyone was brought to New York to watch the show and sip on some champagne. And November 5th is D-Day cause then all the items will be available in stores and if I weren’t the one paying my own credit card bills then the below items would immediately be thrown into my shopping cart.

1. The boots

So I sent a picture of The Boots in our Amayzine whatsapp group with the following question: “Isn’t it essential that I own a pair of these?” A series of yes’ followed. And that was that. These boots need me and I need them. Match made in heaven.

2. The red skirt

Cause when you’ve got the boots, you need this skirt too. These two go hand in hand like me and the boots.

3. The black jacket

There are only a few items you are capable of which you can make different versions of and a good black jacket is one of them. And since I’m still lacking a suede black jacket in my closet, I think this one would be a great addition.

4. The blouse

Now look, now we have come to the key Balmain pieces. I want this blouse because it is capable of beautifying any pair of jeans so clearly this would be a great bargain.

5. THE jacket

Alright the odds of me buying this are slim to none (since my credit card is unfortunately linked to my own bank account) but man oh man this jacket is a beaut! And then paired with the boots like Kendall. Ohhh man I want it all.

6. THE dress

Since December is jam packed with parties and events this dress would be perfect. Pair it with a coat, or without one, pair it with the boots – come to think of it, perhaps this should just turn into my daily uniform.

7. The black dress

Incase the shiny green shimmers start to bore me, then I have this dress as a back up. You can never have too many LBD’s. Especially with my new boots.
