It’s time for your weekly digital box of chocolates. This is what went down this week:
amfAR, where everyone is cooler than you
The absolute highlight of the week was most certainly amfAR. The benefit thrown by the organization that researches AIDS and aims to have a cure by 2020, counts as the most glamorous beautiful-people-party at the Cannes Film Festival. The location: Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. The number of supermodels is unsurpassed. The dresses were bare. Leonardo Dicaprio donated an original Banksy worth $1 million. Lara Stone was the belle of the ball (but again wore an ill-fitting dress and flats #flatgate) and Eva Longoria bought a Warhol for half a million. A lot of dub smashing went on. And lots of dancing. Oh and, Leonardo is said to have gone home with Paris Hilton.
Blair & Seth are having a baby
Leighton Meester is pregnant. The actrice informed us this week she is expecting her first child with Adam Brody. We look forward to seeing Blake and Leighton push their Bugaboo’s on Park Avenue in nine months.
Sad news about Ashley Olsen
Les invigorating news about Ashley Olsen this week. The actress is said to be suffering from Lyme disease. A source at OK Magazine: “She’s very ill and it’s getting worse. The diagnosis was determined in a late stage, doctors we not able to do very much for her. “She went on to say: “The procedures that would have been administered in an early stage were not an option for Ashley.” We send our wishes her way.
Antonio Banderas shows of new girlfriend
The red carpet in Cannes has always been favorable spot for celebrity couples to out their glamorous relationships. A trés chique way of confirming to the world that you’re an item. This week we saw Antonio Banderas who, after his divorce from Melanie Griffith is been dating Nicole Kimper, a Dutch investment consultant he met at the film festival last year. The duo stepped out on the red carpet together at the premiere of Sicario. She looked beautiful but did seem to find the experience a little uncomfortable. Antonio waved wildly at the photographers, blew kisses and pulled funny faces. The Dutchie seemed uneasy standing in the middle of all this attention.

Sylvie Meis grabbed her moment to shine in Cannes with her new love at her side. The former WAG and Tv presenter was glowing while photographers shot pictures of her and Maurice Mobetie a.k.a ‘Momo’, a club owner from Switzerland. Since of last week she officially calls him her boyfriend and wants everybody to know how happy she is.
