Conversation Piece Fun & Famous

Liesbeth and I are at the office, sitting behind our desks that face each other. and it goed a little something like this:

Jet: “Give me a line for this article.”
Liesbeth: “Shall I have a smoke or not?” (I quit you know)
Jet: “What if I eat this Snickers bar?”
Liesbeth: “I don’t know how to end the article. I need a bang. Help me out here.”
Jet: “What shall I have for dinner tonight?”
Jet: “What do you think about him?”
Liesbeth: “What the f*ck should I post on Instagram?”

Distracting each other. Yep, that’s us. Even if only one of us is working on an Instagram post we both need 15 minutes. All that chatting and social media result in fun posts so it’s all business. Here’s a handful of the distractions that we have to put up with. Any advise? We’re listening.

Push messages from Net-A-Porter or The Outnet letting us know there’s a new collection that can be dragged into your shopping basket. Go see.

When a parcel comes in we drop everything and admire what we got.

We immediately look if a text comes in on our Amayzine Whatsapp group. Especially if it’s from our naughty sales director Danielle. What she sends is never appropriate.

If people stop by we sit down for a chat.

Check out how many likes we received. This a every minute or so. Every second if it concerns an Instagram post.

Oops. Now it’s time to polish our nails.

When we get hungry we have to discuss this.

Someone else’s Instagram posts. “OMG Liesbeth. You have to check Nick Bateman, he can’t be doing this.” And there we are scrolling away on his Insta for half an hour (we’ve all seen them all before).

When we’ve finally started typing again: “But Liesbeth, tell me, how did it go last night?”
