Things we love

– Long live the ear buds –

Besides my favorite lip balm, the hydrating one from Chanel, my debit card and my phone there is always a little something that you will find in my beloved Céline. Headphones. I really can not do without them. Last week the speaker of my phone died and I was quite literally glued to those things. They also help me to get through every train journey, if I have a big car trip scheduled I can call for hours, I’ve got my favorite music with me the whole day and they are a life saver for those days when Jet and Liesbeth are next to me gas bagging the whole time. You can understand, me and my headphones are inseparable.

Now I must admit that these things are just as problematic as keys, because I am constantly loosing them. I walk aimlessly around the house almost surrendering to the fact that I just may have to buy yet another pair. I dare not say exactly how many I now own but let’s say that I can’t count them on just one hand anymore.

The flip side of this problem is that I can now call myself an avid collector. Something I was once very opposed to and well, now have just given into. I have headphones with ladybugs, headphones with colored chords and also ear pieces in every color of the rainbow. I can make them fit every look.
