Things you can do during a flight
That you don’t have time for otherwise
Imagine having to sit on a plane for hours, around six of them and you have the choice between swallowing a sleeping pill or browsing through their movie range; but you can also make good use of your time. When else do find the time to spend a few hours doing something without missing out on something? Never. Well you do on the plane. Look it’s not like you have the room to start organizing those uncountable boxes of receipts but there are things you can do that don’t require the Internet. Yet you might need a computer.
finally make that photo album
You fanatically start organizing your photos as soon as you come back from vacation but then it dawns on you that it’s quite the job; so you quite. What a shame, but wait a minute, on the plane you can finally spend hours on this task. Make sure you download a photo album app at home so you can get started at takeoff.
clean sweep your e-mail
Another (boring) task, but necessary. I mean the trash I have in my mailbox…Flags or stars don’t really work for me, I’m way too chaotic and it just looking at them makes me nervous. So a clean sweep is the best way to go. Start at the bottom and throw out what you don’t need, put the other stuff in folders. Feels great this!
Do the same for you phone
Flick through all your photos and you’ll see you can ditch at least half of them. And maybe there are phone numbers in there that take up unnecessary space. Delete.
write a letter
There is someone who deserves one. Someone who needs a little extra attention or maybe someone who really is waiting for an answer. So now that you have the time, do it. The fun part is you can post it in the country you’re going to, don’t forget to do it though! It can also ben an email, write it and press send the moment you’re connected to Wi-Fi.
outline your start-up dreams
This is one of Liesbeth’s. Maybe you’ve been walking around with a head full of ideas for months, they have to be taken down before you can start working with them. Start there. Bring a notepad with you (or your computer) and roughly write down your ideas. What you need and how big you want to be, that sort of stuff.
Needlepoint
A button, a zipper, a hole….Pack a little sewing kit and take the clothes that need mending with you. While on the job you can catch a movie or watch a series. Win-win!
