One size does not fit all
This makeup suits your eyes
When it comes to makeup I’m afraid to say not everything goes with your eyes. You can do a good smokey and even a perfectly set line of blue eyeliner, master all the techniques, yet it still isn’t a one size fits all concept. So here we go. What goes with your eyes and how can we make them sparkle?
Drop shaped eyes
This is a shape where the outer corners of the eye are turned downwards. This eye shape looks super cool if you make a pretty wing using eyeliner. This lifts and opens the eyes. Work with shadows in light colors and always work up, enhancing the lift effect. Use extra mascara on the tips of your lashes, as this will give them a touch of vivacious drama.
almond shaped eyes
Anything is possible with this shape. Kim Kardashian has them and all the looks she tried out all suited her. This shape allows you to work with dark colors because your eyes are very expressive and will always remain so. Lots of mascara works a charm and dark colors look great.
small eyes
If you have small hidden eyes the main thing is to make them look bigger. You have to create the illusion that they really aren’t small at all, but big and round. Taylor Swift is a real pro at doing this. By working with color you eyes attract quit a bit of attention. By adding some metallic color on the inside corner of your eye you make them look brighter and really make them stand out.
big eyes
I don’t think there is anything remotely wrong with big eyes. Now you might think you add more sparkle by using expressive makeup but that really only does the opposite. It’s better to use nude colors as they compliment your eyes. You turn up the drama by applying a line of kohl around the whole eye.
Asian eyes
I’ve tipped you on some tricks before by telling you Asian ladies how to give your eyes more depth as Asian eyes only have one eyelid. Nothing you can’t solve with some good makeup. Use a kohl pencil along the upper lashes and blend upwards. Do the same with your eye shadow. The blending is especially important as neat straight lines make the eyes look unnatural.
