TIGHTER IN TWO WEEKS
Jet: I’m going on vacation in two weeks time. How can I make sure I feel happier with my body (more toned) than I am now? Ah!, avery common question, and one that applies to me too. Don’t worry a trillion girls have to deal with this, including me. I’m going to be a little annoying now; my trainer Robby Nelson always says (well yells): “ you want to shine in the summer, train in the winter”.
DRINK
No. I don’t mean alcohol. A little tricky but a way that is guaranteed to make you feel fitter. You’ll make up for lost drinks on vacation. Drink a lot of water through the day. Green tea or boiled water with ginger is a perfect way to clean your body. Ginger cleans you liver, kidneys and does wonders for you digestion. That’s what you want, right? Everything has to come out. Toxic substances have to be removed during a detox and flushed away. So drink.
A GOOD START IS THE WORK
I consider breakfast the most important meal of the day. If I don’t start off with a good breakfast neither does my good mood. This leaves me munching all day and feeling a little off. Try starting off with a filled green smoothie the next two weeks. Believe me you won’t taste the kale or spinach.
SWIM, CYCLE, RUN, SOMETHING
Sports are the answer to everything. Whether you’re in a bad mood, tired, slow or stressed; work out and you’ll feel a lot better. And of course it keeps you slim (if you don’t eat five burgers after every workout). But working out is also good for you mind, if you tuned you’re already five kilo’s lighter. Even if it is al between your ears, it doesn’t matter. Get your bike out, take the stairs, get those sneakers on and run or even learn to box. Make time for a workout. Too busy to move is bullshit.
SLEEP YOURSELF SLIM
When you’re relaxed you feel better and you feel slimmer. Watch my words: if you’ve had a bad day you feel like an elephant, right? Head off to bed early, get at least 7 hours of sleep a night and try not taking your laptop of phone to bed. Read a good book instead. Haha I sound like a smart arse but I never do this myself. I give advice, that’s what I do.
SECRET TIP
Take a sauna or bikram yoga lesson (that’s yoga in a room that 40 degrees Celsius). Great workout. Don’t tell anyone, okay?
AND THEN THIS: EAT CONCIOUSLY
Replace a burger with a courgettini and go for cottage cheese instead of smelly French cheese (tastes good too). Pick water instead of cola and dish out more veggies than rice. Just think consciously about your choices. You don’t need me for that. You know what’s good for you. Have a great holiday!
