two toned lips

Excusez-moi, two shades of lipstick on one mouth? Yes, we can. It is definitely something I’m going to try. What’s life without risks?

I didn’t want to end up looking like a complete clown so I chose two shades of pink. A light pink ‘Pink petal’ by Smashbox (€20,50) and a darker pink ‘Viva Glam Miley’ by M.A.C. (€19). My dilemma: which lip gets what color? My female intuition tells me to darken the upper and lighten the lower. This resulted in a – I don’t know how to describe this -surprise? My mouth is kinda off balance and it looks as if I’ve had cosmetic surgery done on my upper lip. Whoops.

Almost forgot, to keep the look your lips aren’t allowed to touch each other. So don’t let them. Keep them ajar permanently. In other words don’t try this at home. Or do if you’re looking for a laugh.
