Easter days have passed and I’m sure you all had fun and laughter at your brunch table. Even I went for an egg-hunt (the chocolate version – so I couldn’t show anyone the eggs I actually found – they just had to take my word for it, and the wrappers) and my little butter lamb is missing vital parts. Looking in the mirror I see the after-effects, my face seems to have gained a few pounds, I should have known this would happen. Just then I remembered Kim Kardashian’s tricks on shaping and highlighting, making me forget all about Easter, well not Easter but the side effects.
What does it promise?
There are three simple sticks with a creamy texture: a bronzer, a highlighter and a sculpting pencil. You can easily draw lines on your face. They blend well and the lines fade out nicely. It’s time to preform some magic on your face, from clear cheekbones to a tight jaw-line.
This is what it does :

Josselin, “ Will Malherbe, Smashbox make-up artist, got May-Britt and me all worked up about these pencils during a presentation we had last week. The point is (funny): everyone wants a slim face that shows off the cheekbones, not puffy cheeks that look like they’re about to explode. Just like everyone wants a brownie to cure their four o’clock dip. And the hips, nope, not even going there. Now I always find pencils a little scary. If difficult to wipe off you end up with Indian style war paint, not what you’re looking for. So use the required pencil to draw little crosses (crosses because they blend easier, thus preventing the war paint effect). The darkest color is for shaping, the middle one is a bronzer and the lightest one is a highlighter. First draw all the crosses and then you blend them all. This way you get the best effect. And Will’s right; when May and I tried for ourselves it was pretty damn easy and the result was mind-blowing. So coloring has become a hobby and the pencil trio, standard gear in our beauty bags.”
