anticipating Vuitton

It’s nearly over for the model children. After four long and booked-out weeks there’s just one day left to go before they are able to back home to their mothers. The fashion world will conclude with perhaps the most beautiful and prestigious show: Louis Vuitton.

Nicolas Ghesquière has been the new head designer for a year now and while Marc Jacobs also ran his own label on the side, Nicholas is fully focussed on Vuitton. I know that he doesn’t outsource anything (or as little as possible) and wants to be involved in everything. So he’s present at castings, he decides which celebrity or influential may wear his looks and took control of the Louis Vuitton Instagram account to share the whole process counting down to the show.

Thursday at exactly 10 am (the Louis Vuitton show is as punctual as a Swiss clock) we’ll be live streaming the show here. So you’ll get to be completely up to date, even if you haven’t received that white envelope in EPI leather with its so intensely wished-for invite at your hotel room.
