I’m going on a mini trip and i’m bringing…

Delightful those weekends away. It costs next to nothing to get you to Ibiza or Milan and even less if you manage to stuff your entire wardrobe and cosmetics drawer into your miniscule hand luggage. If that bag doesn’t happen to fit into one of those silly measuring racks you have to check in and your trip will be more expensive. So especially for you, the best space saving items in a row.

facial wipes

I know, I know, we all have our cleansing rituals but you can do without all those extras for two days. Ready to use facial wipes don’t take up any space are multifunctional, you can use them to clean your nightstand and such.

Dry shampoo

I have been a dry shampoo supporter and keep hair washing to a minimum. Not only healthier for mu scalp but for the world as well. Plus, you have more time in thee morning, exactly what you need when on a short trip. We can leave our shampoos, conditioners and hairsprays where they are. Dry shampoo contains talc powder that provides volume. That’s three in one blow! Yay!

styling iron on batteries

I always end up muddling with power-socket-converters for my styling iron. Don’t tell me it won’t work?? To keep my stress levels down during my trip, i choose a styling iron that works on rechargeable batteries and lasts for 25 minutes. That means styling 12 minutes a day. I just realized that i don’t know how my stress levels will hold out now…. I do know that my travel companion will be in a good mood, as I’ll be quick as a wink.

BB cream

I don’t make a secret out of that extra luggage under my eyes in the morning. But how do i replace my whole concealer kit with one product? The correct answer is BB cream: a combination of day cream and foundation. Covers all impurities and I just add an extra dot under my eyes and leave it a second before blending. This way my skin has the weekend off and gets some breathing space. Al photos can be taken with filters these days, or two.

samples

Perfumeries are generous with samples but we usually get the ones we don’t need or like, at all. So next time ask them to make a sample of the fragrance you’re buying. If they are reluctant to do so, tell them it’s a gift, they’ll have to oblige. That little tube will get you through the weekend.
