Which day means what
for a date?
Did you ever think about how much influence a day of the week has on a date? It’s a theory a friend of mine recently threw my way which we both tried out and let’s just say, we’re pretty satisfied.
Monday
I think Monday is least sexy day of the week. You’re probably still beat from the weekend, you had to drag yourself through the day and then you somehow have to manage to have a fun evening with a guy? Give me a break. But then again, if you’re meeting up on a Monday then I guess you really want to see each other which isn’t a bad thing.
Tuesday
A bit of an upgrade. I’ve had quite the number of successful dates on a Tuesday and it even turned into a fixed day to go out and have dinner with someone I was once seeing. My Tuesday’s are still a bit dull, and this might sound somewhat paradoxical, but the person in question isn’t great enough to give up your Monday evening for. Tuesday screams: “Yeah okay, I might like you, let’s just give it a go. Oh and p.s: I’m going home alone tonight.”
Wednesday
Now we’re talking. Everyone loves Wednesday’s since your weekend countdown can officially begin so the atmosphere is bound to be fun. Contrary to Tuesday’s, Wednesday state: “Yeah, I like you. I want to take the time to get to know you…”
Thursday
Thursday’s are the new date night. They’ve even somehow managed to turn into the new ‘night on the town’ night. The hottest and hippest parties are always planned on Thursdays, cause apparently everyone who is hot and hip doesn’t work on Friday’s. Whereas you might opt to go out for a drink on all the latter day’s, Thursday’s are for those who don’t mind having a walk of shame the morning after. But be careful, Thursday’s are still a sign that you’re into each other, but not enough to give up your precious time in the weekend.
Friday
We’ve almost reached the holy grail. Fri-yay is party night, people are happy the work week is over, they’re in the mood for a whole lot of booze and would love to do that with you. Either you meet up later in the evening or right after work, which might feel a bit forced, but don’t worry, you won’t have a boss waiting for you the following day to water the plants.
Saturday
Bingo! Giving up your Saturday for a date says a lot since it’s the most cherished night of the week. Got a date planned on a Saturday? You bet it’ll be filled with food and thrills and who knows what else.
Sunday
This is down right awful. The two of you found no other day suitable throughout the week to meet up and Sunday was your only plausible option. You’re tired from the rest of the week, need to catch up on sleep and be well rested to start off a new work week so a Sunday is a straight up no-go.
