Why AVOCADOs are good for you

In New York every menu has avocado on it somewhere, the green fruit is in every smoothie and there are heaps to be found in Whole Foods. In short, avocados are still incredibly hip. Opinions are certainly divided on the question of whether they make you fat or not, but I can’t do without them. Eat moderately as we ought to with everything, and there’s nothing to worry about. Better yet here are a few reasons why these green things are so incredibly good for you:

There’s nothing wrong with taking supplements, but it’s always better to get your vitamins and minerals from food. Avocados contain Omega 3 fats of the highest quality

You do need fat. But preferably not from some fast food chain. Avocados contain healthy fats that quickly provide a satisfied feeling, so won’t eat too much of them and therefore they keep you slim.

They also contain a substance that rejuvenates the skin. Nothing wrong with that, I would think.


Lots of fibre in there too and that’s good for keeping you regular.
