We all know that water is good for us, but did you know that if you drink three litres of water per day for a year, you’ll see a genuine difference? And that means putting all other liquids aside. No coffee, tea, milk, juice or alcohol. Sarah Smith took on the challenge for the British Daily Mail and holy moly what a difference. See the before and after pictures. And after Sarah, it became a mega hype.
I read somewhere that the whole editorial team at Grazia started the challenge at the beginning of the month for three months. The toilet queues are meters long, but the girls are seeing and feeling a difference. Stronger nails, glowing skin and shiny hair. Fine, seeing a difference so quickly could all be between the ears, but I know for sure that if you keep it up you’ll eventually see a change.
Who is going to join me?
Let’s build it up slowly, and start with 2 litres per day. Sounds easy, but actually quite difficult for some people. You can also drink green tea or add a piece of ginger to boiling water, or try this for variation. Try to avoid all other juices. Also no coffee! Okay, okay, okay a glass of wine every now and then, but not too often.
We’ll up the ante after a month. Try to drink 3 litres of water and no alcohol. Don’t panic, you don’t need to do it for a year, let’s try for two months and see if there is any difference. And…water is free! In two months time you’ll have money for that bag.
