MAKE-UP TO WEAR TO THE GYM

There are girls who, after an intense workout, are left with a healthy glow and only have two drops of sweat on them. Making them look even more sexy. You know, the Jet type. I on the other hand look shipwrecked. I get red blotches all over my face and sweat like a lying Bill Clinton usually ending up wiping mascara over my face; I’m what you’d call an ‘ugly sportsperson’. At least I’m a fanatic or else I’d just be a sorry case. Now you know that puttying yourself with foundation while excessively perspiring is not the best combination. But looking presentable is a requirement; you never know what (hot) body you’ll (accidentally) bump into.

Before you start working out it’s a good idea to apply some hydrating cream as you’re about to sweat it out. Make sure you stay clear of oily substances. The Tea Tree Lotion by Dr. Organic is very suitable for body and face.

BB YES!

I’m more of a foundation gal but in the gym I turn to BB. It’s less oily than foundation and stays put when you start putting in some effort. The Dream Fresh by Maybelline has a 70% water base, in other words: it’s sports-proof.

CHEEK & LIPS

No flashy pink stripes on your cheekbones and lips, though some color is nice. This M.A.C. hottie is for cheeks and lips and I secretly smuggle it into the gym. Yeh well, sorry, there are just too many mirrors….

WATERPROOF

The panda look is an immediate turn-off so everything you use on your eyes in the gym has to be waterproof. For the past two weeks I’ve given my lashes a lick of Benefit waterproof mascara. I simply apply it over my ordinary mascara. Smart huh? I highlight my eyes with a waterproof eye pencil by Chanel. Not the bottom as there is a danger it might get runny.

Okay guys now we can start our workout, right?
