Oh my god guys, again the US has something I want (MUST HAVE) but is not yet available in The Netherlands. And that’s Magic. Magic is a service with which you can have all kinds of stuff delivered to your home – provided it’s legal – with a text message. And I mean really everything, from pizza to flowers and from flight tickets to shoes.

That sounds like heaven to me. Thuisbezorgd.nl and I are close friends, but Magic is your actual personal assistant who organizes EVERYTHING for you. Your contact and credit card details are required for your first order and entered in their system, so later you get the feeling that you don’t pay (like with Uber). You receive a text giving the price of the request, and if you approve then the product is sped to your home.

As you can imagine, I’m a bit irked that I’ve only heard about it here and not last week in New York. Then I could’ve ordered an extra pair of gloves when I was turning blue at Alexander Wang’s. Or a pair of UGGs when my feet began to protest to wearing heels. Anyhow, all the more reason to return in September. Magic, can you please book me a ticket to JFK?
