10 X WHY YOU WANT TO GO TO DISNEYLAND

So yesterday it happened. We went to Disneyland. Obviously I used my daughters as an excuse, but secretly I just really wanted to head to Disney myself too. But since a day is only a day, we turned it into a weekend. And want to make a bet that you’re going to want to book a trip too in five minutes?

1. Another world

All of it. Every nail, every street sign, lamp; every detail was thought out and everything works. You literally set foot into an entirely different world. One which is far more magical than the one we currently live in…

2. Real restaurants

Which is nice in a theme park. Proper food. They even have restaurants where the waiters are dressed up as Disney figures. Ideal for the occasional group selfies.

3. Space Mountain

I mean, this roller coaster alone is reason enough to go. Another round please…

4. The magical parade

At 5 PM all your favorite Disney friends walk and sing along in one of the most joyful parades every. Singing along allowed.

5. And don’t forget Anna and Elsa

This summer (until half way through September) Disney has the Disney Frozen Summer Fun theme in which Anna and Elsa parade around in a shimmering carriage singing their greatest hits.

6. It’s sooo good for your Instafeed

Who doesn’t get excited from Mickey ears and Elsa dresses? I can assure you, the likes and followers will be streaming in.

7. The best souvenirs

Anytime I head to Paris or Milan for work, I always drop by the Disney store to bring back some gifts. Disneyland itself is filled with stores with their newest, best and cutest items from the Disney front.

8. There are no cars

Might sound very civil, but get back to me when you have three kids of your own too. Then you’ll be just as happy. Believe me. And even without any kids, it’s much better to chase after Olaf (like our former editor Liesbeth did here) without any traffic.

9. Hotels in the park

This way you can enjoy the final few hours in the park and head back in early in the morning. Aladdin all to yourself…

10. Fastpasses

This is their extremely useful system in which you don’t have to stand in line for all the most coveting attractions.
