12 ways to de-stress
We all have moments we completely forget to relax and de-stress. Even if you aren’t swamped with work, you’re still capable of feeling stressed from laundry you still need to do, your house still needs to be cleaned or finding time to meet up with friends you haven’t seen in a while. Me-time (I hate that word, but you get what I mean) is essential. And I’m going to fill you in on all the ways your going to give that hard working head of yours a break.
1. A round of karaoke with a friend.
2. Book a massage. I know, not the cheapest thing to do,
but sometimes you need to treat yourself.
3. Light some candles.
4. Call one of your parents.
5. Turn on some ocean sounds or birds chirping. There are plenty of apps you can download that’ll transport you to some tropical island.
6. Cry long and hard. You’ll be fine afterwards.
7. Ask someone for a cuddle or go and have sex.
8. Turn off your phone for half a day. Relaxxx.
9. Go for a walk around the block.
10. Hop on a train and head to the beach.
11. Stand in front of you mirror and make silly faces. You’ll be surprised how much better this will make you feel.
