5 REASONS WHY YOU WANT TO GO TO BARCELONA RIGHT NOW
So last Monday you might have read about my weekend in Barcelona. In my bikini. Check it out here (the diary, not me in a bikini ha ha). With a glass of cava in my hand and with my toes dipped into our private pool in a suite that was so stunning I was tempted to move in right then and there. Anyways, I’m not longer in Barcelona. If I could snap my fingers and teleport, that’s exactly where I’d be. And here are the reasons you need to book a ticket to my favorite city in Spain as we speak.
1. Rebajas
I’m going to assume that you do, but incase you don’t know this word, you’re missing out. July 1st is the official first day of sale season also known as ‘rebajas de verano’. Throughout the entire months of July and August, you can get our hands on clothing with discounts from 50 to 70 percent (!). I’m telling you: you want this.
2. Zara is even more fun than it already was
For all you Zara fanatics, Zara in Barcelona (and in all of Spain) is always a lot cheaper. So think of this. Cheaper clothing + discount + a collection at Zara that they don’t necessarily have in the country you live in = divine.
”Shopping + tanning at the beach = perfect combo. ”
3. Two birds with one stone
Temp wise it’s hard to wander around a city like Madrid in 35 degrees without any AC. But luckily my good friend Barça (fun fact: Catalonians call it Barna, not Barça) don’t mind it. Shopping + tanning at the beach = perfect combo.
4. Look out the window
And you’ll realize that hanging out at the beach the entire day is a great idea. The last day I was there it was roughly 28 degrees. Just saying.
5. Foodporn
Empanadillas, Manchego, patatas bravas, Liquor 43, paella, pimientos de piquillo, gambas al ajillo, crema catalana, pata negra; DO YOU SERIOUSLY NEED ME TO LIST MORE? Let’s not forget my good friend cava either.
Alright, are you sold? Call me when we’re heading back? Gracias!
