5 SIMPLE CHANGES TO YOUR HAIR STYLE

That are bound to impress

When you’ve got plans to go from work straight through to Friday afternoon drinks, then you don’t have time to spend hours in front of  the mirror giving your hair an entire new look. But don’t worry, there are simple tips and tricks to give that head of hair of yours an upgrade for the after party. It’s all about the details.

The ponytail 3.0

The ponytail hasn’t just been the regular ponytail for years. Nowadays they contain volume or they’re super slick. But guess what, even stunner Doutzen Kroes dropped by Cannes with a simple ponytail and damn did she look good. So to say a regular ponytail is dull is not the case. But to give it that tiny upgrade, wrap your hair around your hair tie. Then use plenty of hairspray and products to keep it fixated for the rest of the night.

A blowout without a brush

Do you spend your mornings working with brushes and hair curlers and blow dryers? Ditch these attributes. Instead of going for the polished look, it’s fine to go for the unbrushed effect. It’ll automatically give you more texture which will lead to natural waves. Too daring for your for a daily look, then pull this look of during the day by braiding your hair. That way it’ll be wavy the rest of the evening when you take it out.

From bun to braid

A bun is obviously an easy solutions for a fancy look. But it’s time to add some edge. Why not add a braid around your bun as an accessory. The bun might be really messy, but the braid will give it a chic accent.

From nineties to twenties

The nineties were all about big and dramatic hairstyles. So those curls, they couldn’t be big enough. In the world of hair the following is still true: a big mess is more. Think this look is too rough and still want to give your hairstyle an opera worthy effect? Use a pretty pin for your hair. Preferably something with glitter or such. You can wear it on one side of your hair. You’ll have volume, but in a very chic way.

The ribbon

No matter how you’ve styled your hair, a ribbon always works. You can use it when you’ve got your hair up in a ponytail, up in a bun, when it’s down and you just want to give it a little something extra. All you have to do is wrap it around your locks. The best way to really pull through on the Snow White effect is by keeping your locks shiny and smooth so it’s wise to apply appropriate hair serum.
