6 YEARS IN A ROW: THE PRETTIEST OSCAR GOWNS

Whereas at most parties and events you’re capable of dropping by wearing something casual, it’s a real no-go at the Oscars. Top-to-toe chic is what you need to be and Hollywood goes all out for the occasion.

In just a few days, February 28th to be exact, the 88th edition of The Oscars (a.k.a The Academy Awards) will be taking place in Los Angeles. This time round Chris Rock will be hosting, and I can’t wait because I find him to be absolutely hilarious. With less than a week to go before all the “oh’s” and “ah’s” of ball gowns, I decided it would be the perfect time to quickly go through some of the best dresses of the past few years.

2010: Cameron Diaz in Oscar de la Renta

Although our own May-Britt isn’t a big contender of wearing strapless dresses, I’m sure she can’t help but find Cameron a hottie in this number. Who wouldn’t anyway? The bronze-golden creation perfectly matches her athletic build.

2011: Mila Kunis in Elie Saab

This might just be the best combination ever. This mega MEGA chic lilac dress combined with Mila’s eyes. Stop it! Give me that dress. Oh, and that body too, thanks.

All Gwyn did was walk down the red carpet with a white caped dress and less then a month later ev-er-y one was wearing  capes. Of course they were. That’s how it always works.

Amy Adams always looks like perfection at the Oscars. A design that’s already been seen before? Not for amy. In 2013 she designed a gown together with Oscar de la Renta. That’s the way to go, girls.

Incase anyone had been living underneath a rock the past few years and had never heard of Lupita: after the 2014 Oscars she became a house hold name. Dammit, that dress.
