Happy & Healthy
this is what your baby name would have been now
or in 1890 or 1940
I love baby names. Obviously there are always a few hysterical ones you see popping by (which lead to hilarious conversations), but I always love guessing what people are going to name their unborn babies or the story behind how it was chosen. A couple of us at our HQ have secretly already come up with names for our future babies, and we discuss what our names would have been had we been born as the opposite sex. Long story short. Baby names. We’ve got a thing for them.
I recently came across a link that has taken over my entire lunch breaks. What you do is you fill in your date of birth and your name and a list will appear with what your name would have been had you been born in 1890 or the year your parents were born. If our own shopping editor Lilian had been born this year, she’d be called Alí, and our Theo would be Gerard.
Curious to know what you would have been called if you were born this year? Or back in the 60’s? Or perhaps even earlier? Check this out. Although I would like to worn you that once you’ve started, everyone is going to want to know theirs, so you won’t be able to get any work done. Bye bye productivity.
