In 1998 the American male basketball team was legendary during the Olympics. They were even given the name ‘Dream Team’. Michael Jordan scored one basket after another. And he did so wearing these red white and blue babies on his feet.

Four years after the success of the Nike Air Force, team USA had to show up at the Olympics with another successful pair of shoes on their feet. The Nike Air Max. Up until this day, their hard to miss on the streets.

Another sneaker icon which dates back to 1984; the LA Trainer. These shoes had adjustable cylinders on its heel. Smart move, because they allowed you to change the weight of it depending on how you ran in them. Success guaranteed.
