Conversation Piece Fun & Famous

celebrities and their favorite TV SHOWS

Movies are great and will always be so, but right now we’re living in the golden era of television. With networks like HBO, Netflix and Hulu letting us binge away at one fabulous series after another it seems tv shows are our current favorite drug of choice. Letting us relax, while at the same time getting us excited with their wild, adventurous, dramatic and funny storylines. So don’t feel bad after you’ve wasted away another Sunday devouring Orange Is The New Black, Ray Donovan or Girls. You’re all but alone.

Take Lena Dunham, Rihanna and Hilary Clinton for example. Their famous lives might be ruled by busy schedules but even they find the time to veg out with their faves.

Rihanna – Breaking Bad

Rihanna is nuts about Breaking Bad. When the singer had the pleasure of meeting Aaron Paul at the Guy’s Choice Awards, she tweeted a photo of them adding: “My life is complete!!! #Pinkman4President.”

Lena dunham – scandal

“Basically, my life’s great passion is the idea of being a guest star on Scandal I want to be, like, a senator who did something wrong” Lena said during an interview last year about her favorite tv show.

Drew Barrymore – Game of Thrones

“We’re the biggest Game of Thrones fans, too”, Drew Barrymore revealed about her and her husband Will Kopelman. “We’re like, ‘Go Khaleesi, mother of dragons!” Her husband, even gifted her with a handmade GOT-themed t-shirt that Drew wore in a picture for People magazine. “My husband made me the ‘Mother of Dragons’ t-shirt, and that was so awesome. I was like, ‘I just want one picture of me with my two little dragons wearing my husband’s handmade t-shirt.’ I was over the moon. That to me is everything.”

Miley Cyrus – Grace and Frankie

Miley Cyrus has supposedly been a great help to her favorite show Grace and Frankie getting renewed for a second season. The singer gladly tweeted about her love of the Netflix series. “I found my show! #GraceandFrankie On a bender! Jane & Lily are so bad a$$!”

Michelle Obama – Scandal

First Lady Michelle Obama is such a huge fan of Scandal that when she met star Bellamy Young, she asked her about a major plot point before even introducing herself.

Jennifer Lawrence – Keeping Up With The Kardashians

The Oscar-winner has already been very vocal about her addiction to Homeland, but there is another show that captivates Jennifer Lawrence attention. She was the one left star stuck when she reportedly ran into the first family of reality tv in a New York hotel. “We said, ‘Hi’ and walked into the elevator and as the doors were closing, she screamed across the lobby, ‘I love your show!’” Kim Kardashian West told the U.K.’s Sun newspaper. “We were laughing so hard.”

Iggy Azalea – The Nanny

When this singer chills out nothing makes her happier than finding a tv-marathon of nineties hit show The Nanny. “She had the craziest, raudy most ridiculous outfits.”

Hillary Clinton – House of Cards

After taking the day off on her birthday, Hilary Clinton later revealed she and her husband Bill spent the day watching ‘bad tv’. Their shows of choice? House of Cards and Madame Secretary.
